Howto sync your windows mobile 5 device with Linux using Synce
Currently, quite some effort is going on by the synce team to make it possible to sync your windows mobile 5 (wm5) device (HTC wizard, Axim 51v, etc) to your Linux machine using synce. The synce project tries to implement the activesync protocol by reverse engineering. Although it is not yet possible to sync contact and mail, it is already possible to transfer files to and from your pda using vdccm and the kio-slave. This page describes some of the details to set up a USB or bluetooth connection and connect to your pda.
